They are famous for their wonderful full bodied red wine from the Norton grape variety as well as other choices. Both places offer tours and give you an opportunity to sample wine which is a pleasant way to spend the afternoon.
Branson landing is a lakefront project that opened during the summer of 2006. It is located on Lake Taneycomo which is in the heart of downtown Branson. It has several outdoor shops as well as various top restaurants all with a view of the lake. This is a great place to spend the day browsing in the many retail spots in addition to having a delicious meal in a beautiful setting.
For outdoor enthusiasts, renting a boat and going fishing or simply to navigate around Lake Taneycomo is a great way to spend the afternoon. It is a manmade reservoir that has the feeling of both a lake and a river making it a perfect spot to fly fish and explore.
